A little rain changed the plans, but not the celebration!
On October 10, Memphis Storm Water brought its Family Fun Fall event to Mud Island River Park. Originally planned for the riverwalk, a rainy forecast sent the festivities indoors, transforming BVO into a gathering place for families, local organizations, and community partners.
The day featured hands-on STEAM activities, interactive exhibits exploring how stormwater connects to Memphis waterways, face painting, games, and plenty of opportunities to discover something new.
It was wonderful to see so many families exploring, learning, and connecting with the organizations doing important work in our community.
Congratulations to Memphis Storm Water on a successful event, and thank you to the vendors, partners, and volunteers who made it happen! We loved being part of the day and helping bring the celebration to the island.
Take a look at a few moments from the event, and stay tuned for more happenings on Mud Island!
